Royal Canadian Mounted PolicePermanent exhibition at the Heritage Center - Regina, Saskatchewan
Back to thumbnailsThe story of the RCMP
The RCMP Heritage Centre opened its doors on May 23, 2007, to share the RCMP story with the world.
The Centre was built on the grounds of the RCMP Academy, Depot Division, so the story is told where cadets are trained and it all begins.

The Centre
Housed in a breathtaking stone, glass, and concrete building, the RCMP Heritage Centre tells the story of the RCMP using state-of-the- art exhibits and multimedia technologies.
Design + Communication
Our client, Design + Communication, via its EXPOSIUM division, was commissioned to design a 1,600 m2 exhibition, and Exposition TCD worked with it to develop, select materials, generate drawings, manufacture, print and laminate graphic surfaces, pack, deliver, install, inspect, and train users.

Proven methodology
Supervised by our in-house project manager, our team of drafters, carpenters, woodworkers, buyer, graphic designer, construction supervisor, and installers carried out all the development steps while keeping both the client and designer fully informed about the progress of the work.
A turnkey project
The scenic artwork, furniture, display units, display cabinets, and bases were carefully packed for their journey, while the team of Exposition TCD installers awaited their arrival on-site.
Once museum technicians had been trained and the maintenance manual delivered, the statement of final acceptance of work was received.
